Car Manufacturers have lost their identity...

I remember when I was a kid my dad would play a game with me as we drove down the road. I would have to identify the cars, pickups, and semi-trucks as they were approaching. Was it a Ford? a Chevy? a Peterbilt? a Kenworth?? I even got to the point where I could start telling him what year the vehicle was in many cases...

... I honestly still play the game to this day as I drive down the interstates and back roads.

I miss the years of the auto manufacturers having 1 year only cars like the 1958 Chevrolet Impala. you could spot that car a mile away and know what you were looking at... I know, I know... it's not cost-effective to build vehicles that way anymore, and probably never was... BUT, I personally think it's a tough argument to think that a Tesla is a better-looking car than a '57 Chevy Bel Air...

Unfortunately, car manufacturers have no identity anymore... everything looks the same. I struggle with identifying these new cars if I can't see the name plate somewhere on the car. They all look the same to me...
